Royal Enfield launches NFTs
Piping hot news

Market pulse 📈
The market’s throwing Antartica vibes 🥶
The week starts with the broader crypto market in the red. Recession worries, a feeble equity space (Global and Indian), and the US Fed’s aggressive narrative continue to act as mood spoilers, pushing the market down by 0.74% at the time of writing.
Top cryptos in BTC and ETH are trading flat at the moment, gaining over half a percent each over the past hour or so. Most weekly losses have been erased, and it would be interesting to see what the stalwarts have in store for the investors. It is important to note that BTC volume moving into the exchanges is at a 112-day low, as of 24 September 2022. Fewer cryptos moving into the exchanges means less selling pressure. Still, keep your fingers crossed.
💥🛞Art of Motorcycling 🛞💥

Yep, Royal Enfield just announced its NFT launch — #ArtofMotorcyclingXNFT 😵.

Here’s where it all started:
Way back in 2020 (okay, disclaimer, this isn’t an NFT surge story, it's just a background story), Royal Enfield came up with an initiative called the Art of Motorcycling program to fuel the creativity of artists, creators and motorbike enthusiasts. More like a community initiative. They rounded off the second season with more than 15,000 entries this year.
You get where we are going with this, right? Right!
So, a grand jury of designers nitpicked ten winning designs created under the theme of Motorcycling by ten artists. Royal Enfield is now converting these designs from seasons one and two of the program into NFTs on an Ethereum-based platform. They’ve priced each NFT at ₹15,000 and will be live on 3 Oct. It looks like these proceeds will be given to the winning artists for their efforts. They’ve even created a terrific landing page to showcase their art. Much wow!
Royal Enfield isn’t the first bike to offer NFTs, some global brands have entered the space already. For instance, in July this year, Ducati partnered with Ripple to offer NFT collectibles for motorbike enthusiasts. But sure, this is a first for an Indian bike, so yayy.
Psst… If you are an Enfield enthu cutlet and have put off buying one coz it’s too expensive; you can always buy a couple of these NFTs and flaunt owning an exclusive Royal Enfield collection.😜😜 (Again, just a suggestion, not investment advice)
